What does my child have to wear?

Can my child be placed in a class above their age group?
We always try to place children with their age group in recreational classes. While students might be advanced academically, we strive to place students in a physically & physical developmentally healthy class where both their body and mind can advance without injury or bad habits developing. In our academy classes, students may be placed above or below their age group to reflect their level in the advanced work being done.
Do you offer competitions?
Yes! Following a classical coaching structure, we prepare individual students and small groups to compete at various competitions from the age of 7 and up. Students must be enrolled in our Ballet Academy to participate in a competition.
Do you offer performance opportunities ?
Yes! Dance students participate in both our annual December Nutcracker Ballet as well as our June Showcases. All Peak Performers with regular attendance are invited to perform in our scheduled showcases. Additional opportunities at community outreach events are also available throughout the year. Our Pre-Pro X offers audition prep and casting opportunities (certain restrictions and extra fees may apply).
How many days a week does a Ballet Academy Student need to come to class?
Academy 1 (ages 5+): 2 days/week. Academy 2 (ages 8+): 2-3 days/week. Academy 3 & 4 (ages 10+) 3-4 days/week.
Do you offer make-ups or refunds for classes we cannot attend?
Our policy is that there are no makeups and no refunds. If you need to reschedule a private lesson a minimum of a 24 hour notice is required. We cannot refund a missed private lesson but will do our best to reschedule given proper notice.
Do you offer adult classes?
Yes! We offer adults classes in many different styles of Fitness, Dance & Music.
How can I pay for classes?
Parents with a child enrolled at PEAK Performing Arts center are required to have an account in our online payment and registration system. Parents can log in and access their parent portal here: https://dancestudio-pro.com/
